In this rather insane alternate universe of mine within the Metal Gear Solid timeline,instead of Richard Nixon becoming next in line,thanks to the master manipulation of Major Zero rigging the elections behind the scene with the backing of the newly formed Patriots,Big Boss becomes the brand new POTUS. Oh and Zero is killed off by Ocelot on the orders of Big Boss shortly thereafter before he could becomes too problematic.
I can only imagine how the country would have reacted back then in the 70s if it turned out that the first lady was not only bisexual but also in a relationship with another woman along with her husband as well. That would have caused a even larger scandal than John F. Kennedy being a serial womanizer. That's not even getting into the massive baggage they all have.
As for what happened to the Philosophers,both Ocelot and Signit ensured that they were no longer a problem. I think that Big Boss would do a better job cleaning out the rats and troublesome politicians ruining the USA. It is impossible to reform the world according to how the Boss envisioned it,but they sure did try their best.
Eva is the link that bonds them together hence why she is in the middle. Solid Snake and Liquid are twins from Eva while Solidus from Para-medic. Beat that Hideo Kojima.
